The Wrath of God

This presentation comes from one of William LePar's bible classes. Often Mr. LePar would speak from inspiration. Many times, his spiritual source, The Council, would speak through him even though he was not in his trance state. We believe this is one of those times.

Even though this message is directed primarily towards Christians, all will find some value to it. Mr. LePar and The Council voiced their opinion, many that all major belief systems were essential to the spiritual growth of those souls who choose a particular belief system. They also stated that some of those who did not believe in Christ were better Christians than many who attended church on a regular basis. How a person treats his family, his friends and others during his life determines his true spiritual standing, not necessarily the religious path he travels to find his Creator.  Below are Mr. LePar’s inspiring thoughts.

 John 3:31-36, “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth belongs to the earth, and of the earth he speaks; he who comes from heaven is above all. He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony; he who receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for it is not by measure that he gives the Spirit; the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.”

The Knox Version has a footnote here about verses 31-36 saying these verses may either be regarded as part of what St. John the Baptist said (perhaps more probably) or as a comment by John, the writer of this Gospel. That is in regards to which text you are going to take it from, what manuscripts you are going to take it from as in the Greek and the Hebrew. One of them is not quite as clear in specifying that those are the words of John the Baptist. The other one specifies that it is, so whenever there is some doubt in some respect like that then there is a note added. Regardless of who is saying it, whether it is John the Baptist or John the Gospel writer, I don’t think it is significant who said it. What is more important is what is being said.

John the Baptist sets before men the eternal choice of either life or death. All through history the choice has been set before Israel. In Deuteronomy 30:15-20, this records the words of Moses. “See, I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil... I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life that your descendants may live.” The same challenge was offered again by Joshua – “Choose this day whom you will serve.” That is from Joshua 24:15.

We can rest assured that life concentrates on a man when he reaches a crossroad. The most important thing is man’s reaction to Christ. If that reaction is love and longing, that man will know life eternal. If it is indifferent or hostile, that man will know death. It is not that God sends His wrath upon men; it is that man brings that wrath upon himself.

This is the only place in this Gospel that God’s wrath is mentioned in this manner. I would say the reasons why John the Gospel writer does not dwell upon the wrath of God is that John hopes that those who understand what John is saying and the picture of Christ that is portrayed in his Gospel are beyond that type of thinking. Some people prefer to ignore that which comes to us when we do not work within the Divine Vibrations, when we go against such vibrations. Some people wish to ignore that friction or wrath that WE set up, that friction within that Divinity becomes the Wrath of God that we call upon ourselves.

Any true conception of God is as a moral being to Whom sin is hateful, and if we believe that, world history is world judgment. There is plenty of evidence for this (and we are referring now to wrath) in the world today. Such a wrath (from God) is not an outburst of an irate pride as it tends to be in human beings. To form a true picture of the Wrath of God, we should think of the holy indignation which a good man feels in the presence of stark evil and then multiply it infinitely. Such a wrath must belong to Him whose nature is holy love, to Him Who is God. This wrath is the higher self’s condemnation of its lack of desire to create as perfectly as it can. In its pride and self-esteem, it does a sloppy job of creation, for it seeks only to satisfy itself and not the perfection of divinity that its source of light comes from. Now we are talking here about us as individuals. In the Divine’s creation of each of us in our original state, we were created perfectly, and it was of our own free will to be less or other than perfect.

Even now, at this very moment, the original essence, the Divine Essence that we are, is in what one might consider a state of perfection, but in receiving the free will that the Divine has given us, we still insist on feeding our own selfishness and our own desires, so that the pride of the higher self, choosing to exist in its own level, or its own dimension, does not contribute to the Divine Plan of God, thus becoming imperfect or out of tune or out of step. The spiritual vibrations of that entity do not mesh into the Perfect Pattern and add or create more beauty to the general plan that is the Divine Plan of God or the Holy Love. So, as it marches or moves out of vibration, it creates a disharmony or that which is not aesthetic in terms of beautiful or inspiring, thus is imperfect.

To those who may worry about correcting the ego or selfishness of the higher self, it should be to your understanding here and now that the higher self has realized its foolishness by creating you, that you are consciously aware of, in a position and in a time when all that is necessary to reach your at-one-ment is by accepting the Divine Love of God and believing in His Son Jesus Christ.

In essence, what the higher self has come to realize is that in its desire to become complete, it can only do so by admitting its imperfection, its selfishness, and placing itself in the Divine Mercy of God, allowing itself to be in a position to work for and with the Will of God. Thus, the higher self realizes its limitedness. It has faith and trust in the love and mercy of God.

Henceforth, you are a Gentile born into a Christian belief system or into a Western belief system. So, you as an entity that is consciously aware in the material plane can find satisfaction in knowing that you, the higher self, is willing to submit its will to the Will of God.

Whether it continues in this path, we can judge in the physical awareness by our actions and how closely they subscribe to the Divine Laws of God. Our physical self is a mirror of our higher self. This is in reference to attitudes and how well WE manifest them in the physical.

 

Closing Message from The Council - Lily Dale

This is the Closing Message from William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council, at the trance in Lily Dale, New York.

The Council:  At this particular time in man's history, you are moving from one spiritual age to another spiritual age. It is a rise in consciousness, and at this point in time you are existing in what is referred to as a bridge period, a bridge period. During this particular time there will be many opportunities for souls to eliminate their karmic debt and move on into a better spiritual state. It is necessary however for those who are existing in a physical form now, they must begin to make a change in consciousness, they must begin to make a change in themselves, so that they can make a direct influence on the rest of creation, in their world, in their time. In so doing, great change takes place, not through the masses, but through the process of one enlightenment to another enlightenment, one awareness to another awareness. You as a spiritual being, by nature, is communal. You flourish in a communal situation and so it is because of that nature your spiritual growth comes fastest, quickest, and with greatest depth when you participate in the community. As an individual when you share your love, when you share your compassion, you then demonstrate your godliness, and those that are on the receiving end see that godliness, and it could very well be the thing that they need to begin to make a change in their own life. So, it becomes a spiritual contagion that one passes on to the other, and in so doing the entire consciousness of a land can be changed far quicker than mass chanting or mass meditation. Meditation is a great, wonderful experience for the individual. It helps that individual to bring a calm or a peace or a tranquility, even if it is only momentarily, to the entire being. In so doing that can eliminate the opportunity of stress which is the root cause of disease, the root cause of stress is the lack of love one has for themselves. So, in meditating you eliminate the stress, you realize that there is a worthiness to you, thus you begin to ignite a more positive self-love in yourself, and in so doing then you start a cycle of conscious uplifting. But meditation helps the individual far more than group meditation helping the world condition. If you find it necessary to meditate as a group in order to solve the problems of the world, by all means do so. But realize  that you should take time for your own personal meditation so that you can experience the god that you truly are. If we may make light of the situation, for we have learned that if you can laugh at yourself you have overcome the biggest problem. So, let us say this, you are a god that just doesn't want to accept his godship. You are a god that doesn't believe you are a god. Remember, if you take yourself too seriously, it can be a manifestation of the ego, but if you realize that there is an importance to you, and that that importance can bring you your divine state, then you can grow from where you are to what you should be and could be.

Let us, in closing, say to you: We honor you all as gods, and we look forward to the time when you too will be present in our place, at our level, and in our vibrational field. And in closing we repeat the opening blessing: May the Peace and the Joy of the Infinite Father be upon you all, and may His Light shine down upon you, around you, and within each one of you as it truly does. Uncover your light and let it shine. You will be dazzled by how beautiful you truly are.

The Council’s Opening Message – Lily Dale Part 3

This is the final part of the message from William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council. It was given at his Lily Dale, New York Trance.

The Council:  If you are to change your world from a chaotic state to one of peace and joy, where your children and your grandchildren can live in total safety, you must re-establish the family unit, you must return to the old values because in those old values the child was taught self-respect, the child was taught dignity, and the child was held up as the future of mankind. In the material manifestation or in the world as you know it, the most important being is the female. She is the mother. She is the one that will teach the baby, teach the child. And if she teaches that child, that baby, that he is a child of God, that he is beautiful, that he is loving, that child then will in fact be able to accept that and begin to love himself as he justly deserves. In so doing, the conduct of his life will show the respect that he has for himself through his relationships to others. If man is to change the world, he can best succeed and more efficiently succeed and more quickly succeed, if he puts his efforts in changing himself. Masses can gather together for meditations, for sharing the light, whatever man can conceive as being the cure-all for his problems. They will only work to a small degree and only for a small period of time. The real change that can be brought upon the world can only be brought upon the world by the individual's change, for that individual through his personal contact then becomes an example of what love really is. If you love your children, if you love your grandchildren, if you think of tomorrow, and if you think of their tomorrow, what they will inherit, then begin to love yourself. If there is any condemnation of an individual, it certainly isn't by the Divine. It is by that individual himself. That Divine Source is unconditional Love. It is the author of unconditional Love. What we have attempted to do is get you to realize that condemnation only comes from self, that as a god within you lies all the goodness that is necessary to be perfect. Should you want to reach perfection in the physical form? Yes, that should be a goal. It should be something that one strives for, but one must realize that since the material manifestation or the universe or creation as you understand it is the outcome of imperfection, then the material manifestation cannot hold true perfection. If you should succeed during a lifetime to actually reach total perfection, the material manifestation could not hold that so therefore you would cease to live. Your total perfection then would come at the moment of your death. That one split second where you truly crown yourself as the son of God, the heir of all glories. Life, the experience of life, the learning lessons of life, are intended, not only by your Divine Source, but by yourself in your original spiritual contracts that you made upon entering this lifetime, those life plans were based on experiences that brought you joy and happiness. There are many lives who have had very little joy, very little happiness in them. Why? It is because those individuals did not keep to the original plan that they had laid forth. Spiritual growth is intended to come in joy and happiness, not in pain and sorrow. Unfortunately, the material manifestation for the soul or the spirit entity that you truly are is very addictive, very addictive, and that is the problem. It has become an addiction of the soul or the spirit. The attitude of "I can always do it right the next time." Naturally, these are not conscious thoughts or attitudes. They are the attitude of you, the real spiritual being. These must be changed. One must desire to achieve all that they can achieve in this lifetime because the experience in the God-Made Heavenly Realms is truly an experience of total joy, of total happiness. Man must begin to look at himself as more than just a physical body. Man must begin to realize that his identity cannot be achieved by the material things that he possesses. His true identity can only be achieved when he loves those around him. When he is willing to give of his time to fill a need of those who are in need. In so doing man achieves his truest identity, that of a soul that truly loves. Again, if you do not love yourself, then you have no love to give others, so one must start then first and accept the responsibilities of your godly state. Accept the responsibilities of the throne that you will sit upon. Accept the responsibility of your own godly power. Claim your right to your crown. Claim your right to your godship. We thank you.

The Council’s Opening Message – Lily Dale - Part 2

This is the second part of the message from William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council. It was given at his Lily Dale, New York Trance.

The Council:  Your earth, your universe, your physical bodies, your whole means of spiritual growth in the natural or physical manner, this is your creation from this essence of form. Because this essence of form came from the Divine it is the Divine, it contains the Divine, and in this it is orderly because it contains the Divine it is orderly. This essence shows the consistency of the Divine Presence. It shows that this Divine Source, the Infinite Father, God, whatever terminology you choose, is constant and can be relied on 100%. Since this essence of form contains the Divine Source, the Divine Source then is ever-present in all things. If mankind is to reach his maximum spirituality, then he must learn to experience his own humanity, that is his compassion for mankind, compassion and love for mankind. In all of creation in the universe, it is an orderly, harmonious whole. Man must experience that humanity, that compassion, within that whole or harmonious state. If man is to achieve this, then man as an individual must achieve a balance between the individual and the society as a whole. Man must accept limitations to his emotional desires, his physical desires, and his wants of possessions. Not doing so shows to you already the outcome. Your world is in chaos, whether you choose to admit it or not. The only thing that can correct this chaos is order, and that is the re-establishment of the Divine in yourself. The re-establishment of the individual thinking mind. The re-establishment of a self-respect and a self-love because you are a direct descendant or issue of the Divine Source. In so being, you are worthy of absolute love of self, not self-love in the sense of an egotistical type of love or a self-serving love, but the godly love that shows that you have respect for yourself, that you carry yourself with dignity, you carry yourself with pride, not pridefulness but pride. You carry yourself as a god that you truly are, and as a god that you truly are, you share that compassion, that humanity, with others. You give to them the love that you have for yourself. If you are to grow spiritually, you must first love yourself because all spiritual growth is based on one's ability to love others, to be compassionate to others. If you do not love yourself, then you have no love to give. Our task is to help you love yourself, by showing you the beauty of the Divine Source, by explaining to you those things you find necessary to understand more fully. You must again as individuals give up the mass mentality that has been inflicted upon you and begin to develop your own thinking processes. Begin to learn to see the Divine Principles in all things. Once one begins to apply the Divine Principles to his life, his life changes. It becomes far more peaceful and harmonious. And if one is to experience joy, then first what must exist is peace within that individual, for if peace does not exist within that individual, no joy can come to that person or that soul or that conscious state being. Cement your relationships with your Divine Source and in so doing you open yourself up to that very Presence. Your God, the Divine Essence, will not force Himself upon you, but waits patiently within you and around you for you to invite Him into your life, for you to invite Him to participate in your love for your fellow man. Contrary to what most people are taught, this Divine Essence or God is not a God of vengeance or punishment. He is a God of pure Love, forgiving Love, accepting Love, unconditional Love. Regardless of what paths you may have walked, He still waits patiently with arms outstretched, beckoning you to come to His Bosom, begging you to allow Him to express Himself to others who have not seen Him. 

The Council’s Opening Message – Lily Dale – Part 1

 This is the first of three parts of the message from William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council, given at his Lily Dale, New York Trance.

The Council:  May the Peace and the Joy of the Infinite Father be upon you all, and may His Light shine down upon you and around you and within you.

Who are we? What is our purpose for being here? Why have we chosen to touch in with mankind in this manner? We come from what we have called the God-Made Heavenly Realms. We reside in the Celestial Level. Our next step of advancement or growth allows us then to merge directly with the Godhead or the God-Force. We still maintain our unique identity, but in that total immergence with the Godhead our personalities are magnified tenfold times ten. We have gone through the Man- Made Heavenly Realms. We have reincarnated many times, but we have finally achieved success in our spiritual growth, thus we needed not to reincarnate again. This made us eligible then to enter into the God-Made Heavenly Realm.

The God-Made Heavenly Realm was originally intended for your use, your spiritual growth, your reawakening to your true godly state. But over the eons of time those who did not accept their positions were given the ability to create whatever they so chose to create and along with creating the material manifestation, or your world, your universe, the cosmos, you also created an artificial heavenly realm. This was out of a need or a necessity because those souls who did not choose to utilize their maximum potential were forced then to constantly reappear in the physical dimension or manifestation that they created. In other words, they had to continue to relearn the lesson or attempt to relearn the lesson. Thus, this temporary way station or waiting place or place of re-evaluation of self is referred to as the Man-Made Heavenly Realms. We have gone through that and finally achieved, as we said, the maximum spiritual potential we could achieve in a material form, thus making us eligible for what was originally intended for the creations of the Divine, the children of the Divine, and that is the God-Made Heavenly Realms.

This level of being or information, for we are in fact beings not just a source of information, has never before contacted the material manifestation. Upon the passing of this one, we will no longer speak to mankind. The purpose of this level in speaking to mankind at this time should be quite obvious to all of you. Not only are we attempting to reawaken the spiritual quality that you all have, we are also charged with trying to get you to begin to think for yourself. Rely on the Divine that lies within each one of you. Begin to appreciate the quality that the Divine has created in you. In other words, it is our purpose to attempt to get you to think and to get you to begin to love yourself. Your world is in the condition it is in because the souls or mankind has forgotten how to love himself, how to appreciate the god that he truly is. In the very beginning when those souls left the Divine Source to discover themselves through themselves, this Divine Presence or God issued forth an essence of form. That essence of form was for you. This essence of form is what you created all that exists from.

The Council Explains a Little about Themselves – Part 2

 William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council, follows the previous quote with a little more detail about what it is like to exist in the higher levels of the spiritual realms.

The Council:  Once you achieve the Angelic Level of the God-Made Heavenly Realms, you are no longer associated with anything that resembles the material manifestation because you then are known by those who are with you not by who you were as a human being but what you areas a spirit being. We who are here now speaking to you, we have no names because we are beyond the need for recognition. We accept what we are, and we are our virtues and our character. So amongst ourselves we are known by our good, by our love, and each of us are as unique and individual as each of you are. The material manifestation has not been privy to some of the information that we have given, not in your historic time. It will take time for many to begin to understand the real state of existence once you have lost all need for a material life form. It is the most beautiful experience that you could ever conceive with the finite mind. Times that by trillions upon trillions and you will only begin to scratch the surface of how beautiful life or existence can be when you accept your godship. When you truly begin to love yourself, a whole new form of expression is open to you.

The Council Explains a Little about Themselves – Part 1

William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council, tells us more about themselves and their purpose.

Questioner:  Has any portion of The Council experienced human being-ness as an Australian aboriginal in the outback nation?

The Council:  To answer this question calls for a further explanation of ourselves. We refer to ourselves as a council because that is our duty, to advise the material manifestation or those individuals who are interested in what we have to say. During the period of a Trance, although there are 12 entities present on this council or participating in this council, this does not say that the 12 who were here at the first spoken word will remain for the entire Trance. The change can be tremendous during the period of one Trance. In other words, although you hear one voice, one answer, it is the combined knowledge of all who sit, regardless of how long, at this effort. Since we all are part of the Celestial Level our knowledge is not isolated unto our own selves, but because of our state of existence, we are able to commune all knowledge into one answer. So during the course of one Trance or Communication, you may have a thousand pass through this council. Figures here, numbers here, times here, are far different than as you perceive them. We do not truly have time. We do not truly have numbers as you understand numbers. We have attributes and virtues. As to whether we have experienced a particular life in a particular place, some of us have in those particular places, others haven't. Man will find it very hard to understand how we exist and the whole purpose of this council experience. You see, as we attempt to show our love for you and to help you realize your own godly state, it is the last act of love in our schoolhouse, so to put it, wherein this giving of ourselves and lowering our vibrations into the material, that act is a tremendous act of compassion and concern. In so doing we then step from the Celestial Level or the portico of the House of the Divine, we step from that position directly into the full Presence of the Divine. So, to ask us if we have experienced life at a particular time or a particular place, we who are in this Level have experienced lifetimes that you will never ever know as historical events or places.
